Bombay Hut in Waldwick, NJ. This take out/delivery Indian restaurant is special! Everything is made to order and you can smell the delish Indian flavors once you walk in. Now serving Indochinese food-it's fun to try something new and exciting on the menu. Make sure to check out the weekend specials! The classic Indian dishes are full of flavor and made fresh to order. Amazing food! But their new HIGH prices are just insane. We have avoided ordering many times because of it. They should at least increase the amount of food you get or something to justify. I know groceries cost more etc etc but $25 for a small container is just too expensive.
This is the best and most authentic Indian food around. There is a wide variety of options for all, including the kids, from your traditional entrees to others that you'll only find at Bombay Hut. The service is excellent too. Neha and the staff are friendly and accommodating, and always putting customers first. Every experience from the old location to the new has been positive over the years.
Arrogant, expensive: 1) Prices have increased by almost 50% 2) Very arrogant. When I politely gave the feedback, the cashier, with a square face, was very unapologetic. He sounded arrogant and tried to avoid the conversation by referring to black and brown menus. 3) Food has become very oily. Had a heavy feeling after eating. They never had any dine in. They don’t deliver. On top of it they have several charges such as carry out fees, convenience fees, credit card surcharge, etc. At this price point, this restaurant is no longer attractive. It makes sense to explore other Indian restaurants in the neighborhood.
It’s our go to spot for Indian food but was so disappointed this time. Past Saturday we got 4 naans from Bombay hut. Front was uncooked and back was burnt. We had guests over and felt so bad feeding them burnt naans. :( I don’t think anyone cares there anymore.
