My 6- and 8-year-old sons have been attending jujitsu classes with Coach Chad, and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. Both boys are very energetic and hyperactive, and Chad has a remarkable way of meeting them where they are—patient, calm, but firm when needed. He teaches more than just technique; he instills respect, confidence, and discipline in a way they actually connect with. They leave each class a little stronger, a little more focused, and so proud of themselves. We’re really grateful to have found such an excellent coach and environment.

I am thrilled to share my experience with Jiu Jitsu North Jersey. Chad is incredibly patient, kind, and caring, creating a nurturing environment where the students feel safe and encouraged to learn. Since starting the class, with both boys I’ve noticed a positive change in both son’s behavior. They have become more disciplined, confident, and respectful, both in and out of class. The personalized attention and positive reinforcement from the teacher have made each session enjoyable and productive.
We also do private and group lessons for wrestling which has brought my wrestler to the next level with his skills. Chad is very skilled in both fields. I highly recommend Chad and his staff.

I’ve been coming to train here at Jiu Jitsu North Jersey for 2 and a half years now and it has been amazing. Coach Chad is very patient, caring, and understanding and is very helpful when trying to practice a new move. He takes the time to properly show how to do something and will repeat what he did to be sure we understand what to do. He will go out of his way to help us whenever and treats everyone like family. I have met so many great people during my time here, it’s more than class, it’s a community!

My son’s been coming here for more than 2 years now, and he will continue to come. He loves training here, he loves learning the skills of JiuJitsu with his friends in class and he loves learning it from a very passionate mentor - Coach Chad. Self-defense, discipline and at the same time having fun.

I’ve been training at JJNJ for about a year now and I love it there. Coach Chad is a great professor who is not only patient but incredibly knowledgeable and a great teacher. I love that there’s a focus on takedowns and not just the ground game - the classes are not just drills, but practical applications of what we learn in class (live rolls). He really focuses on mindfulness and the community reflects that. The people there are great, all ages, all skill levels, everyone’s welcome to grow at their own pace - happy to have found a home there!
