Great class! My 5-year-old has been training with Coach Chad for the past six months, and he absolutely loves it. Not only is he learning excellent Jiu-Jitsu techniques, but he’s also developing discipline, confidence, and focus. My son and I train at North Jersey Jiu Jitsu in separate, age-appropriate classes, and it’s been great for both of us. As an older student, I initially felt nervous, but the welcoming environment and effective training have motivated me to work harder, enhance my longevity, and even heal old injuries that I believed were irreparable. My son loves his classes. He’s having so much fun, making new friends, and picking up solid technique without even realizing it. The culture here is excellent — Coach Chad makes sure everyone trains smart and no one gets hurt. Safety and respect are clearly priorities. Great instructors, positive atmosphere, and real results for adults and kids alike. We’re hooked!
My six year old son has been attending Jiu Jitsu classes here for over a year and I can’t say enough about this facility, Chad, and all of the other instructors are top notch. My son had never done an activity like this before and is overall a very gentle kid, but we wanted him to not only become stronger, but also learn early on how to defend himself. Chad just naturally has an energy about him to help kids feel comfortable, pay attention, and feel safe while learning this incredible art. Everyone there is extremely attentive to the childrens’ needs, and it is so helpful when they separate them into small groups, along with large group instruction during the same class. In addition, Chad has taken the time out of his busy schedule on three different occasions to speak to me specifically regarding my son and some kindergarten hurdles that we have been experiencing in school and how to help build his confidence. Chad truly cares about his students and their positive experience every time they walk in the door. At the same time, this is professional training and they keep them moving and participating, unlike others I’ve experienced. You can tell when a place is just out for your money, or when they see you just as a number - Chad’s heart is fully invested in this business and his experience in training and skills are shared in age appropriate lessons. Our family highly recommends Jiu Jitsu North Jersey.
My children (and I) love coming here for Ju Jitsu training. They get so excited everytime we are there. We joined several months ago after trying another place. We had our first free trial session for my four and six year old and the smiles on their face said it all…. We had to join. Coach Chad creates such an inviting, inclusive and positive environment. He holds their attention and the kids are always learning something new. Chads team is great and the kids look forward to each session. We even sat and watched one of the adult sessions and the kids said “wow can we do that one day” They have a great schedule and they also don’t nickle and dime you. I obviously can’t say enough great things about this place.
