A Culinary Gem in Ho-Ho-Kus – A Must Visit! I recently had the pleasure of dining at St. Eve’s and it was truly a phenomenal experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm, elegant, and intimate — perfect for a relaxing evening out. The food was absolutely exceptional. The pork chop was juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor — beautifully complemented by rich sauces and elegant sides. The appetizer featuring prosciutto, arugula, and fresh fruit was light, refreshing, and artfully balanced. To top it all off, the tiramisu was nothing short of phenomenal — airy, rich, and flawlessly executed. Easily one of the best I’ve had. The service was impeccable, and the BYOB option made the evening even more enjoyable, allowing us to pair our favorite wine with this incredible meal. Hats off to Chef Stefan Ondrus and the entire St. Eve’s team — this place is a true standout. I can’t wait to return and try more from their inspired menu.

Tried St. Eves for brunch because theyre now serving brunch ! Anyways, food was great and delicious. The French Toast was fluffy and not dense, the Wagyu burger was flavorful, loved the burrata twist, and the Eggs Benny better than you can ask for. May return soon.

We've been going to St. Eve's for years with family to celebrate birthdays or just spend time together. Food is excellent and service is great as well. Overall its a nice place, but my most recent visit has changed my opinion. I was given a gift card for my birthday dated less than 2 years ago and was looking forward to our next visit. We have young kids and its hard to make time to go out, but we finally we got a chance to spend time with friends. To my dismay, the card was not honored. We were told there is new ownership (but the name, location and staff are the same) and they were not honoring cards older than 2024. My card was bought in December of 2023 for my January birthday. The card was less than 2 years old as of Nov 2025, and there was no expiration date (Note: I've been told by friends they've never had issues with a card under 2 years). What a huge disappointment. This totally spoiled my evening and has me looking elsewhere for fine dining. My parents visit often with friends and I'll be sure to let them know about my experience - they will be very disappointed considering they purchased the card.

I had an amazing experience at St. Eves! From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and relaxed. The atmosphere is beautiful without feeling too formal, and the staff made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely incredible. You can really tell that Chef Stefan Ondrus puts so much care and creativity into every dish. Everything we tried was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and just felt special. You don’t come across that level of attention to detail every day. I honestly can’t pick a favorite dish because everything was that good. You could tell the ingredients were super fresh, and the combinations of flavors were spot on. Chef Stefan is clearly very talented, and it shows in every bite. Highly recommend St. Eves if you’re looking for a place that’s not only delicious but also has a great vibe. Can’t wait to go back!

From the moment I stepped into St. Eve’s, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere strikes a beautiful balance—warm and intimate with a rustic charm, yet polished with modern touches that immediately set the tone for an elevated dining experience. Soft lighting, reclaimed wood accents, and thoughtfully curated details make it feel like you’ve stumbled upon a secret haven for food lovers. What truly sets the tone, though, is the staff. From the host to the servers, everyone exudes genuine warmth and hospitality. They’re not just courteous—they’re passionate about what they do, offering thoughtful recommendations and sharing the story behind each dish with pride and excitement. It feels less like you’re dining out and more like you’ve been welcomed into someone’s home. And then, of course, there’s Chef Stefan. His cooking is nothing short of artistry—each plate arriving with flawless presentation and even more impressive flavors. Every bite was layered, thoughtful, and deeply satisfying. The Prince Edward Island mussels, served in a fragrant broth of lemongrass, Thai green curry, and coconut milk, were a masterclass in balance—briny, creamy, spicy, and impossibly fresh. The broth was so extraordinary, so irresistibly flavorful, that I couldn’t resist asking for more of the warm, freshly baked bread (served complimentary) just to soak up every last drop. As for the main course, the duck breast was an absolute standout—cooked to a perfect medium rare, with a crisp, rendered skin and a depth of flavor that was both rich and refined. Paired with seasonal accompaniments that elevated the dish without overpowering it, it was a perfect showcase of Chef Stefan’s ability to balance classic technique with bold, modern flavors. St. Eve’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Chef Stefan and his team have created a place that celebrates food, service, and atmosphere with equal heart. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or someone just looking for a perfect night out, this place delivers in every possible way. Don’t miss it. And whatever you do—get the mussels (and keep that bread basket close). Oh, and the duck? Unforgettable.
