My husband and I have been using Dominick for the last few years. He is truly a breath of fresh air after dealing with Mercedes and Audi auto service for so many years and getting completely ripped off by them . It is so refreshing to have an honest mechanic fix our cars and not have to worry about the constant upsell and overcharging. Dominick has all of the computer equipment to work on Audi and Mercedes and can do exactly what the dealership does cheaper and faster. He. always comes up with a reasonable solution and is able to get the parts incredibly fast and always does an amazing job getting our cars back to us quickly. My husband and I both have recommended him to several of our friends and they two share the same sentiment. He is truly the best.
Excellent work. I needed an oil change and picked a service station near my job for convenience. I am really glad I picked this one. It's located in the Valero gas station on Godwin Ave. Nice shop, very nice owner, Dominic. He did a great job. The car is running significantly smoother. I thought it was going to cost a lot more but he put in a coupon for me and the price was awesome. With all the prices going up everywhere, it's nice to meet someone honest who isn't taking advantage of that fact. Since I work so close, I walked to work after dropping the car off and Dominic offered to pick me up when it was ready. Super nice guy, clean work, good price. I definitely recommend for great service.
I can’t recommend Checkered Flag Auto enough. My car broke down locally and they truly helped me out in an emergency situation. They were able to diagnose and fix the issue by the very next day, which was such a relief. What stood out most was how honest, kind, and reasonable they were with pricing. As a woman, it can sometimes feel uncomfortable dealing with mechanics, but I felt completely comfortable and respected here from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, transparent, and never made me feel pressured or taken advantage of. I’m very grateful for their help and would absolutely use them again in the future.
Unfortunately like most people, I needed brakes and tires on my car. Dominic saw me without an appointment and ordered the parts I needed within minutes. No extra services or unwanted upsell, pure professionalism. The work was finished within a few hours after the parts arrived. He also walked me through the work that was done on my vehicle when I arrived to pick it up. I would Highly Recommend Dominic for all car services and I will be using him as my go to mechanic! Have lived in Midland Park for 20 years and been to a few Mechanics , until Dom. WOW, These other Mechanics do not even come close to Dom. He is honest knowledgeable and always ready to help and work with you. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done correctly and always gives you a fair price. (Not like some) Without hesitation I recommend Dom. Finally I have found a honest reliable and trustworthy Mechanic!
