After being out of the grappling game for well over a decade, I decided to stop into Jiu Jitsu North Jersey at The Superdome. Over a year later and I couldn’t be happier with that decision. Professor Chad provides a welcoming and encouraging environment to his students, and brings his expertise of multiple disciplines to what he teaches. He provides attentiveness and quality technical instruction to each and every student. I knew I would be in great hands, and learning a complete Jiu Jitsu from one of the best. Training at Jiu Jitsu North Jersey has improved my fitness and motivated me to make positive changes in my personal life. I have also learned and applied valuable skills to my law enforcement career. My 6- and 8-year-old sons have been attending jujitsu classes with Coach Chad, and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. Both boys are very energetic and hyperactive, and Chad has a remarkable way of meeting them where they are—patient, calm, but firm when needed. He teaches more than just technique; he instills respect, confidence, and discipline in a way they actually connect with. They leave each class a little stronger, a little more focused, and so proud of themselves. We’re really grateful to have found such an excellent coach and environment.
I first walked into North Jersey Jiu Jitsu at age 63. I was very apprehensive because my body is a mess after years of physical damage caused by my time in the military and 25 years of police service. With 3 anchors holding my left shoulder together, two total hip replacements and one total knee replacement, I didn't give Coach Chad much to work with. However, I soon found the Coach and his students met me where I was and coached me though my limitations. I was given constant encouragement and every little bit of progress was recognized. I whole heartedly recommend this school for anyone, from beginners to advanced. North Jersey Jiu Jitsu is top notch.
I am thrilled to share my experience with Jiu Jitsu North Jersey. Chad is incredibly patient, kind, and caring, creating a nurturing environment where the students feel safe and encouraged to learn. Since starting the class, with both boys I’ve noticed a positive change in both son’s behavior. They have become more disciplined, confident, and respectful, both in and out of class. The personalized attention and positive reinforcement from the teacher have made each session enjoyable and productive. We also do private and group lessons for wrestling which has brought my wrestler to the next level with his skills. Chad is very skilled in both fields. I highly recommend Chad and his staff.
I’ve been coming to train here at Jiu Jitsu North Jersey for 2 and a half years now and it has been amazing. Coach Chad is very patient, caring, and understanding and is very helpful when trying to practice a new move. He takes the time to properly show how to do something and will repeat what he did to be sure we understand what to do. He will go out of his way to help us whenever and treats everyone like family. I have met so many great people during my time here, it’s more than class, it’s a community!
