I think this will be one of my top favorite meals of 2026 and it’s only February 16th! The homemade red sauce was to die for. The sausage broccoli rabe pizza was one of the best slices I’ve her had and that means a lot coming from me since I am a traditional cheese slice or margarita slice girl. We also had the eggplant rollatini and the arugula salad which were both so yummy. One of the best arugula salads i’ve had! Truly so unbelievably delicious. And on the other hand the New Jersey Italian vibes, the welcoming family-like environment was truly so special. The hospitality of the owner, Freddie, was unmatched!! Gave us a pint of sauce on him as well as the most delicious cannoli dessert of hot dough topped with powdered sugar and cannoli cream! We were in a food coma. Will be back soon!!
I tried Mangia Pizza in Waldwick and honestly wasn’t impressed. The regular slice had a nice crisp, but the sauce was pretty bland and lacked flavor. The grandma pie was better—the sauce actually had some depth—but not enough to make up for everything else. What really turned me off was the service. I asked a simple question about whether they use different sauces on their pies, and Freddy responded sharply that he doesn’t answer those questions because it’s “secret.” I wasn’t asking for a recipe—just basic info—and the attitude felt unnecessarily rude. For the price (especially when you’re paying more for certain pies), I expected better quality and a better experience. Between the bland slice and the interaction, I won’t be returning. Go around the corner to Natalie's, for an exceptional pizza and lovely friendly people.
Our go to pizza in town. Love this pizza. The vodka pie is my favorite along with the regular plain and pepperoni pie. Always good.
Delicious hot pizza pies right out of the oven ! This spot is your place to go for fantastic Italian dishes as well. Very gracious and friendly owners! Will return for more of their menu!
I stumbled upon this by winning a gift certificate at a tricky tray. Recently one of the best finds in my dining experience over the years. Fred makes you feel like you're in his home. Checks on you, in addition to your waitress, to make sure all is good. His complimentary zeppelis are some of the best we have ever had. I have been here three times and all were delicious and family and friends love everything too. I was there last night celebrating my birthday and went up to Fred and booked two more reservations to bring more family and friends. ❤️
