Park Wood Deli is an absolute gem in Midland Park, NJ. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like family by the one and only “Deli Guy”—and trust me, the hype is real! My friend and I even got to hop behind the counter and help make one of their legendary sandwiches, which was such a fun and memorable experience.
The food is made with so much love—literally. The Deli Guy’s 83-year-old mom still helps cook, and you can taste that homemade goodness in every bite. The sandwiches are top-notch and the pizza is incredible too!
This place has such a loyal following, people travel from all over just to eat here. We even met someone who flew in from Texas and made it a point to stop by!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Parkwood Deli – Midland Park, NJ
I recently saw a YouTube video of "The Deli Guy" making the BRONX BOMBER and I was hooked. Park Wood Deli is 30 minutes from me, and is WELL worth the trip. Some may say it is silly for me to pass over a dozen delis on my way to Park Wood, but the sandwiches are definitely worth it. I ordered a few sandwiches and shared them with some veteran NJ eaters, and they loved it! It was great meeting Rodger and I plan on making the trip for more decadent sandwiches in the future. LETS GO YANKEES!

Solid sandwich- the main guy is great and the bread too. Meat size is solid too. Loved the sub just could be a friendlier staff but im sure they are worn out from the hype. Great sub shop in the area and would be back when i pass by

1st time I have catered food from Park Wood Deli and I can honestly say it was spot on. We ordered trays for Thanksgiving and it was not only delicious. It was reasonably priced with excellent sized portions. I'm not going to hesitate to order for future occasions! Thank you for making our holiday one of the best!

Parkwood Deli and Caterer — where do I even begin?! Heather, Roger, Tim, and the entire team are absolute rockstars!! We had the honor of having them as our main caterer for our wedding day, and we truly cannot thank them enough. From day one, they were so thoughtful, caring, and organized, helping us plan the perfect menu and seamlessly coordinating with our other vendors. Their help with decorating and setup went above and beyond anything we could have imagined — everything was flawless!
And the food… wow. Our guests are still talking about it! I kid you not — a friend told me the skirt steak actually changed his life! Every single dish was incredible, and the homemade cookies were out of this world — the best we’ve ever had.
We received countless compliments throughout the night and even after the wedding. Parkwood Deli and Caterer made our day unforgettable, and we will forever think of their amazing team for any future event. Thank you all for being such a huge part of our celebration and for delivering excellence in every single detail! (Once I have photos I will make sure to upload!!!)
