Went here passing through Waldwick and left absolutely happy and full. I had the pleasure of meeting the chef/owners which were absolutely wonderful, provided excellent service and were so kind to tell me a tiny bit of their history. Their menu is authentic Italian with Italian ingredients brought over from Italy. I had the Tera Mara pizza and it was delicious!! Crispy with a blend of flavors that make you want to keep eating. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be back next time I pass through to try something else off the menu.

Great family owned (BYOB) and managed restaurant, the family has lived in Italy for many years and brought that flavor and quality to NJ, along with some really great imports such as truffle oil, pastas, and more which are all sold here. I will 100% be back again soon! I highly recommend going with the chefs choices, that’s what I did and we were blown away!

Perusia is an absolute gem in Waldwick! Aldo, the owner, could not have been nicer – he really makes you feel welcome from the second you walk in. The sausage and burrata slices were out of this world, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The ambiance and overall vibe of the place are off the charts – cozy, inviting, and stylish all at once. Topped everything off with an ice-cold Coke, and it was the perfect meal. Can’t wait to come back!

My whole family had the most amazing time and experience at this restaurant. The pizza was INCREDIBLE and the ravioli… we were fighting over the last bites!
