Picked it based on google ratings. Was impressed!! Food was so great, reminiscent of food in Europe. The piazza had an airy dough crust. The torta with prosciutto and provolone was fresh and clean tasting. YUM, we’ll be back!
We found Perusia on a whim, and we’re glad we did. Their pizza was delicious and hot. Their salad was also outstanding; we ate every bite. Service was good and the atmosphere is contemporary.
Went here last Sunday with my wife and two toddlers. Authentic Italian food. My two boys loved the food. Haven’t seen them eat so much food. We had the chicken wings, the pizza and the Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese. Definitely will be back again.
The extraordinary quality of the ingredients (from the vegetables to the olive oil) finds a match in the obvious pride with which these dishes are made. Healthy, generous in its use of ingredients and just delicious, it really feels like the owners just stayed in the capital of Umbria and had the dishes magically transported to Waldwick. Truly friendly and kind staff and a total unpretentious atmosphere complete the experience of just authentic food and service. Bound to become an “it” place, I hope “Perusia” retains its authenticity, both in its cuisine and at the personal level for a long time to come.
What a wonderful restaurant: the food is delicious, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. Had grilled octopus and meatballs to die for. The portions are very generous and meant to be shared family style. I highly recommend this local restaurant!
